A retired UBC language instructor, Sadhu Binning has published more than fifteens books of poetry, fiction, plays, translations and research. He has been actively promoting Punjabi language education in Canada for over four decades. The Heartbreaking Incident/ਸੀਨਾ ਪਾਟਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ is a poem written by Binning and published in his 1994 bilingual poetry collection No More Watno Dur.
