An opening reception featuring Councillor Amarjeet Sohi introducing the Komagata Maru Week will take place on Monday, May 26th from 6-9pm. Along with key photographs and documents, two artists will feature art interpretations of the incident at the exhibition.

Councillor Sohi will start speaking at 7:15pm.

Free samosas and chai will be served!

From Monday, May 26 to Friday, June 7, 2014, Latitude 53 will be hosting rare photographs, key documents and other materials from the Komagata Maru Incident.

The exhibition is available for viewing during Latitude 53’s regular hours.
